In this episode, Norma has a conversation with high school student (Khanh) and college student (Pablo) on what motivated them to volunteer/work on political campaigns and the skills they learned by helping to elect a candidate at the local level.

In this episode you will hear from:

  • Khanh is a high school senior who discusses how education and climate change led her to work on two political campaigns with the goal of working for something bigger than herself. At her age of 17, she reminds us to focus on what we can do for our community instead of how qualified we think we are.

  • Pablo is a sophomore at Northwestern University talks about how he started giving back to communities that he is part of. He reminds us that win or lose, it was all worth it in the end because not only did he get to work with a great candidate, but he also fought the good fight to make our world a better place.
